Modern computer aided manufacturing is now undertaken at Bharat Coach Builders Pvt Ltd, using NX Unigraphics for 3D modelling and AutoCAD for 2D modelling of all buses and parts. Shop floor level drawings are then made from these models for manufacturing the buses and Quality Control and Quality Assurance Departments verify whether the buses manufactured are as per specification and drawings.

For complicated parts, prototypes are designed in 3D CAD and using rapid prototyping techniques, physical 3D models are printed.

Latest welding techniques are used for manufacturing maintenance-free product with high corrosion resistance. Extensive use of D&H MIG Welding Machines for manufacturing the structure of the bus body. TIG welding is used in aluminum structures for high strength aluminum bonding.

ARAI Approved parts are usually used for most of the trim parts. Nearly all parts used for assembling the bus are fire resistant as per IS norms.

Windows are Glasses are all procured from approved sources to ensure high quality and safety of the passengers.

High performance PU paint is used for superior paint finish and long life. The painting takes place in a Positive Pressure paint booth to ensure little contamination of the body paint from dust and other external imperfections.

Each fully produced bus undergoes a set of tests to ensure it is ready for delivery to the client. The tests include a 15 minute Shower Test, Electrical Test for all electric items in the bus, a road test to check for rattling and squeaking noises.
